i own one with the full winter cab on it with doors and heat:)

I do like the older tractors a lot. I have a 140, and 314. My Dad has a 317. I also have a L100 that is five years old. It is a great machine and have had no problems with it untill I had to replace the spindles on the mower deck this years. That ain’t bad in my book. The L100 and the L120 that oney135 have a briggs and statton engine in them, same as most Craftsmans. So it ain’t becasue it is a JD that it is smoking.
She thinks my tractor is sexy….lol

You can’t buy a John Deere lawn tractor like they used to make them. The only new models that are worth a crap is the “X” Series-but even those aren’t comparable to the older models like the 300 and 400 series.
it came from a john deere dealership in illinois it was transported to o’mally john deere in pitsburg ks which is were i bought it john deeres or pretty good machices but the 100 series mowers were the buget series mowers for homeowners mine is the garden tractor model for the 100 series it has the 20hp briggs vtwin which i am told they don’t last long anyways i think there life span is like 300-350 hours but the older ones are great long lasting machines i have a 78 316 and i love it runs great
you have to buy a john deere from a dealership but if you by one some where else like homedepot then it won’t last
nice mower but i have to disagree with the buy a deere last forever complament because the newer crap they call deeres are junk my 03 L120 smokes like a freight train and it only has 200 hrs on it ur machine might last forever since it is a diesel but the newer gas models don’t last at all my 05 craftsmen is still going strong with 400 hrs on it. it’s between craftsman and john deere they are both pretty good machines i’ll rebuild my deere and it will probably last a long time after that 5 stars

Its a yanmar. I have a 455 AWS with a 60 inch deck. I admit a fast mower is fun but the real test is how fast it can do a good job mowing tall grass. 455s are fast but they are even faster mowers! I will gaurantee anybody that a troy built won’t mow foot tall grass at it’s top speed without blowing it up, killing it or doing a very bad job mowing. A 455 with its diesel will mow anything you put in its path and if you ever mowed with one, you would believe me! its the best mower Ive mowed with!

nah dude he’s not playin the troy bilt tractors are fast as hell..i made a racing/off road mower out of one cuz of that…it’z really cuz the way they’re geared but nice john deere though!
What a fucking bird brained little fag. Thats what your worried about?? doughnuts??? Drifting?? When your all grown up you can do those things with a real car. Example: a 200sx or whatever. Leave the mower for the mowing.

Trust me, you have NOT seen a fast lawn tractor until you see my Troy-Bilt. What is your tractor’s speed. The average tractor speed is 5-7 MPH, but our mower has been clocked at OVER 9.8 MPH.
